HONORS AND OPPORTUNITIES

• National Youth Leadership Conference in Washington D.C.
  • Learned workings of government as well as how to work as part of a team to solve problems in mock cabinet meetings and other mock government proceedings, met with state representatives and senators.
• MEDIA Program to Jordan
  • Spent three weeks in Amman, Jordan working with a Jordanian partner to create a digital story about a global issue (in our case, it was the media selling us the concept of “cool”)
  • Visited various Jordanian landmarks and spend three weeks immersed in Jordanian culture.
• Unified Bowling
  • Worked with special educators to be the bowling teammate of a special education student over two seasons.
